Divine's Dining Room

Named after Darlinghurst's colourful Tilly 'May' Devine - Divine's Dining Room is the ideal space for intimate seated functions whilst still maintaining that exclusive feel. Nestled in the back corner of Tilly May's, boasting a sweeping gold curtain that can be drawn for guests to socialise undisturbed by the goings-on of the rest of the venue. For your convenience, a TV with HDMI cable are also available.

Leigh’s Lounge

A nod to Tilly's arch rival & Surry Hills' very own Kate Leigh, this super cosy and charming area is ideal for casual style functions. Enjoy a drink or two by the fire while still basking in the atmosphere of the rest of Tilly May's. This informal space is perfect for casual & cocktail style events of up to 20 guests.

 

 

Annie’s Area

Keeping to the theme of the bar, the space is named after the Trinity's first female publican Annie O'Sullivan. Just like Annie herself, this space is the heart of the bar, sitting below our retractable rooftop, fitted out with an assortment of high tables & stools; Annie's Area is perfect for casual & cocktail style events of up to 50 guests.

Exclusive Hire

We reserve Tilly May's exclusively for events of 70 - 90 guests.

Tilly's will raise the roof for your event, boasting a retractable roof; this rooftop bar has you covered, rain hail or shine! With a dedicated sound system for music and DJ's, private bar, projector screen, and versatile furniture configurations allow for a truely bespoke experience.

This exclusive space is perfect for social and corporate events of all shapes & sizes.

 

 

Christmas at Tilly’s

Celebrate the holiday season at Tilly May's, located just steps from the Surry Hills light rail. Our rooftop bar features a retractable roof, providing a fun open-air atmosphere for your Christmas party.

Whether you prefer one of our private areas for an exclusive feel or want to take over the main bar area for a more lively atmosphere, our versatile spaces are perfect for both social and corporate events.

Enjoy a delicious three-course Christmas Banquet for $75 per person, with optional drinks packages to get into the holiday spirit.

For groups of 20 or more, our functions coordinator will help you plan all the details. Plus, for large group bookings on a Monday to Wednesday in December, your guests will receive a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival!
